I did consider taking it to work as I have snow tires on it, but the wife said no! Probably for the best.

Got enough mixed precip to fall for about 30 minutes or so for a very light slushy coating on the grass that lasted for a few minutes around noon.

Weak outflow aloft allowed for just enough dry cool air to filter in. Areas sheltered from this saw mostly rain.

Explains why South Surrey is continuing to see snow while Burnaby Mountain is seeing rain right now.

EC got the snowfall warning all wrong.

Kiss of death lol. That said Bby Mt never disappoints even if it has changed to rain. Got a good 8-10 cm I'd say.

It has now been nearly one year since YVR last recorded a subfreezing high (-6.8c on Dec 22, 2022).

So I'm gonna get this over with and put it out there, as I know i'm now on the periphery to most people in the forum. Moved up to Squamish for personal reasons, not for the snow. But might do marginally ok throughout the winter if reputation holds. I hear there's been a few skiffs of snow for the last month and a half here and there, but just a couple centimeters of wet sloppiness currently as it's been snowing lightly all day, but slightly above freezing at sea level. Hi everyone anyways, and if it gets exciting, I'll try not to brag since I know i've cheated a bit coming here.

Cool,someone just cleared my sidewalk with an ATV snowplow.

Snow petering out, looks like drizzle. Maxed at 5cm.

Would have been a first (in recorded history) had that happened, however YVR has already recorded 29.7cm of snow this year.
