Kids had a blast. I think you'll be okay, and you're right - the interior mountains seem to do alright with maintaining at least enough to have a semi reasonable season :)

Hope you enjoy your annual family trip to Kelowna - Drive safe!
Quite the disparity right now between coastal and interior resorts.

Euro is showing some slop potential notf for Christmas Day.

Looks too warm imo, but just posting what it's showing.

Really depends how much cool air gets entrenched in the interior with that weak trough this weekend. Not necessarily cold by any means but like last time, you just need cool dry air to drag snow levels down.

Christmas miracle for Whistler Blackcomb but I am guessing mostly rain for the North Shore ski areas?

I'm not really sad or happy either way about the current weather. Snow is always nice, especially around Christmas. I'm also not hanging on to the run by run details on whether it shows snow or not. If/when we get arctic air this winter, I will be excited as long as it's not during veggie planting season ;)

I feel the same way. No expectation and therefore no disappointment. Actually like this kind of peaceful and calm atmosphere. If any snow comes, hopefully in January rather than February as it’s time to get ready for spring.
