It's apparently about how southern states prefer more home games in the second half of the season or something. Maybe to do with Football season finally wrapping up in February with the super bowl?

Ya, I saw a story a couple days ago where they were already preparing for the upcoming fire season as they expect it to be a bad one, again.

On this date last year it was -13.2c for an overnight low imby, there was ice flowing down the Fraser, and we were under a Winter Storm warning.

Was in the interior the other day. Shocked to see green shrubs and grasses. Really wouldn't be surprised to see March/April forest fires if conditions don't change.
