They'll have to close soon. Another few days of this warm and wet weather and there'll be nothing but mud. They can't even make snow it's too warm. It definitely is shades of 2015 or even 2010 when they had to truck in the snow to Cypress for the Olympics.

Looks pretty intense right along the Coast. Heading in a N/NE direction.. But will that intense rain band remain intact across the Strait before it reaches metro Van? Often it doesn't.

Starts cooling down the first weekend of Jan, so the runs showing this have been pretty consistent with the timeframe.

We’ll just have to wait and see.

Still waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to get excited. :14clown:

Only if you have an account on the A.F. then fill your boots. 👢 we reached a high of 9c @ the official pond for the holiday season in south Sardis.

But will it just be a dry cold? Some models are pretty dry. Speaking of dry EC has rain for tonight and tomorrow but it looks like the Olympic rain shadow might take care of that. We won't see much. Never do in this type of pattern. Those damn Olympic mountains let's get rid of them.

I don't this this photo is in the historical thread?
West Hastings from Granville, 1908.
Looking east in the snow. Streetcars and pedestrians. Birks jewellery store is partially visible, left, and the Canadian Bank of Commerce is across the street with the Strand Hotel next door.
