Took the fam for a sleigh ride at Big White on the 26th. Our kids had a blast. It was only -5. Between that, ice skating up there, and food, the ol’ wallet is lighter but little minds are laden with a wonderful time that’s set to be tradition.

For those familiar with the drive from Kelowna to Big White, there was only a dusting of snow in Joe Rich area, and a few cm in the shade at the turnoff from Hwy 33 to Big White. That’s an incredibly low snow pack. The turn off at 33 is well into the alpine. It was at the mountain that the snowpack—although low—was respectable.

Not much snow in Vanderhoof but I have been having fun biking in it at the bike park.

Nicer looking "Troff" on the 00z GFS. Pretty low snow levels with this setup.

History says there is a good chance this gets watered down as we get closer but who knows.
