Just a brutal season so far. Won't be a great year for them financially, unfortunately.
Hopefully things turn around in Jan, but I'm not so sure.

The good news is, it’s January. We just need a cool airmass and some offshore flow for some flakes. That may be all we get this year, unfortunately.

Been a crazy warm period for sure -- still haven't touched the records from 1980 though (18c @ YXX) which shows just how insane that heat wave was...
But even that year Tsweat we had that amazing blast of cold/snow early Dec/80.

This winter may end up a write off but I'm very interested in next winter if we crash back into La Niña as models currently suggest.

The last 13 years have had a few duds for the local ski resorts on the North Shore. There are years with lots of snow but word is the snow quality has been totally mediocre.
There is a massive push from investors to open up crown land further north for ski resorts for a reason...

It might be the clown range GFS, but I've had a good feeling for a while that it's going to snow down to sea level in January.
