Hmmm... interesting. The January 1943 arctic blast was historic, but not that one -- looks like it was a prolonged moderate cold snap.

Those extreme runs really decided to run with that 1928-29 analogue that was mentioned a while back after Edmonton's snowless November.

No chance here of course, but maybe Edmonton will see a repeat!
