First <-10c temp in January at YVR since 2004. At least this pathetic streak is over now... and who would have thought during a strong El Nino.

I think YXX went from Jan ‘12 - Jan ‘20 without a temp < or = -10. It’s now occurred in Dec ‘21, Dec ‘22, Jan ‘24. Has a 1930’s feel to it now: extremely hot, cold, and dry.

Edit: I was looking at the city, Edmonton has an International Airport forecast because it's technically in Leduc, outside the city proper.

-15, windchill -24 and humidity 42% at the valley floor, so I'm thinking you're right East Whackerman, there might be some snow on top of your station.....

Wind has died down a bit here the last little while but might pick up again I'm assuming?
