Someone on the weather network said Vancouver had its coldest day since 85

Temp is stuck, for last few hrs, even nudged up a bit.

The 00Z Euro is significantly milder for both tomorrow and next week than the 00Z GEM. Will be interesting to see if it's a warm outlier.

Temp is rising here as well; we bottomed out at -9.4 and it's been rising slowly but steadily. Now at -8.7

Wrong, as the official Tmax yesterday was -6.4c.

It's unfortunate as the afternoon was colder than the early morning hours when it was still -7.2c at midnight.
