There will likely be another round of heavy snow and possible freezing rain for areas of the east island from the Malahat and northward. Starting later Thursday and Thursday night. I suspect things will mix out by Friday morning but that’s a tough call on timing. So check back on Thursday.

Going to take a while to saturate things. Very dry atmosphere.

But that's a good thing if @Michael1 wants snow. Upper atmosphere is now too warm to support snow, but the evaporating precip will cool it to freezing or below and allow snow to fall through those layers without melting.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Thanks! Too late to cancel the hotel at that point 😂 we have hockey in Powell River one day Comox the next. He’s good with driving in snow and I would rather not even as a passenger.

Much of the precip seems to be heading into Washington at the moment.
