I've seen suggestions the models are saying we will be below normal temperatures again at beginning of February. Is this going to be an A/A+ winter?

thoughts on if this sticks around overnight or will turn to rain?
seems to be tracking slightly colder then planned which in our part of the world might mean the snow continues to fall ..?
anyone above my pay grade care to share predictions of the next 48 hours?

last measure was just under 25cm, compacting a bit
out here on the western front temperature has dropped half a degree in the past 20 minutes or so, was sitting at -0.4C, now -1.0 C and still dropping, we're usually the first to see temps rise so I like the trend, as short as it is
DP is fairly steady at -1.8C and still flurrying lightly
Ladner, elevation 4m

This baby overperformed. When I said 20–30 cm, I was thinking the usual suspects (Catnip Hill, higher parts of Surrey, Westwood Plateau) would get the high end of that range. Was expecting 25 cm max IMBY and have already blown past that. Would not be surprised to see totals approaching 40 cm in some spots.
The perfect storm

Up to 27.5cm. Don’t think we’ll hit 30, but this has been awesome.

This will freeze overnight and some clearing may cause temps to further plunge.
No melting or thawing until tomorrow PM once we see the
return so get our and enjoy this while you can!
