Ice pellets really adding up here in a way the flakes never did. Up to 2 cm for the day so far.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Mostly ice pellets now here in Ladner. Accumulated enough to cover all the roads and bare surfaces with a cm or two
Currently located in Tsawwassen, beside Tsawwassen Mills

Fortunately as the moisture turns to rain! Hopefully it brings the warmth from aloft!

It does seem to be warming here. Had been stuck at -0.3ËšC for hours but now up to -0.1.

Just as well, will avoid heavy icing when it rains.

I like the transitions that include a rapid warm up. From -1C to +12C with a southerly wind...makes it more tolerable than sticking near 0C with rain.
