No we don't. It gets so dry during May to October nowadays. Bono himself was begging for +12C rain in October.

I'm team +6C rain now. Let's get some Mountain snow going!

I am good with that a lot of Whistler for coming up, freezing drizzle now. Everything is starting to glaze.

How much accumulation so far today?
It's called clown range for a reason.

29.2 cm for YXX.
I notice that so many stations claimed there was rain when there CLEARLY was no rain...

Well, I went for a walk to the mail box in the snow. It was quiet and peaceful. A week of cold weather in a normal winter us awesome, but in an El Nino year is a treat. This will be it for the snow, for now. Now we need to build up the snow pack in the mountains.

It looks like about 4 cm. However on the drive way and roads, It is less, since it didn't start accumulate on those surfaces, until late afternoon.

I wish. Or at least I wish summers weren’t so hot and bone dry.

Been a problem for years (ex. December 2021, December 2022). Shoddy snow totals at YVR and recording rainfall when there was clearly no rain.

I just checked again, it's still clicking and bouncing so it's still ice pellets. But increasingly wet. I'm not picking up any more accumulation. Going to leave it at 4.5 cm on the day, no more measuring tonight.
