Yep, the SOI has already gone positive. This should be interesting. Any idea on how the PDO will evolve?

Still was icy in spots in east Coquitlam on the roads and sidewalks around 7am with ice accretion from the ZR visible on cars and tree branches.
Lots of pooling water out there, especially on the right sides of streets and near intersection dips for crosswalks. Was about 1ft deep near Lougheed Hwy/Dewdney Trunk Rd earlier this AM. Flooding will continue to get worse until snow is removed or melts from storm drains -- always have to clear it off my side street during a snow melt otherwise it can get pretty bad.

Spent some time this morning clearing out our storm drain and making a channel for water. It’s gross out there.

Here are a few photos taken yesterday that show how epic of a snowfall this was Imby. We ended up with over 50.5 cm in a 17 hour period.

Way too early to make a call on this. Should get a better read of the PDO come September.

Long-time lurker here from the sadlands, think it's very possible YVR got 5 cm last night. Didn't switch over here till about 7:30 and had over an inch of new accumulation by then.
Praying for another 1950

Very possible. I had about 4.5 cm and YVR switched away from snow/ice pellets at around the same time as me.

+3 and rain up top of Grouse Mountain. That's pretty pathetic and sad.

It would have been nice to enter a ridgy fake cold period after the snow to enjoy it for a while, but that’s the way it goes around here. Oh well.
