Especially after a wonderful snow event like we had, only to see it decimated by a 7 day rain forecast instead of at least cloudy with shower or sunny breaks. Nature always gas to rip our snow cover away as fast as it can. This is depressing for many people.

But it sounds like it was pretty gross by the news story.

No, but I have a friend who lives north of Hastings St. who smelled it. I think both of us are too far south to have been affected.

Probably for the best. A lot of jerks no longer shovel their sidewalks and plows end up tossing more slushy snow onto the sidewalks. It's an absolute nightmare for seniors or people who rely on mobility devices.

I agree skipper plus trying to take the garbage to the dumpster is a chore for an old timer like me. I don't find fun in sliding on slush. .
