It’s a disastrous portent for what summer could bring to a province that depends on snowmelt for everything from agriculture to electricity and drinking water, not to mention fighting wildfire."

Looking at all the local mountains today with the clouds gone is pretty depressing. They look like mid summer in terms of visible snow from down in the metro area. That's very disturbing Hounderpounder l enjoy seeing snow capped mountains in the winter just to see snow. Now that's becoming a thing of the past now where do l go to see snow.

Can only imagine what this will mean if we have another hot and dry summer.....
