The cherry blossoms are already out in Victoria!

snowdrops are up and blooming, English violets blooming in sheltered spots (granted some were blooming pre-cold snap) and 1 brave daffodil is fully up and trying to bloom, just needs a bit more

I'm surprised no comments on Lindholms debut with the Nukes on Tuesday it's so quiet on here l was more entertained with the Moscow circus the other day oh well guess no one will come on until either we hit 45c again or we have hydro plane races on Sumas lake in November, it's currently 5c at the pond in south Sardis.

Cool summers ahead. I am getting a heat pump installed in my place (for heating and cooling). That's got to be the summer equivalent of someone in our group buying a snow blower.

Unlikely indeed. The last 12 months averaged 1.5c above pre industrial times, so most areas will average above normal.

It's a rather decent snowfall being depicted on the models for next Wednesday. 5-10cm.
