I don't think I want that much rain, but having active stormy weather is better than having a lot of ridging for a cold snowy winter, I think.

Hopefully not. Thankfully, that run is unlikely to verify. While it looks like a potential Atmospheric River, the GEM often overdoes precipitation totals. Further, there were other factors that led to the November 2021 flooding such as snow melt. That shouldn't be an issue this early in the season.
