I don’t think we even got a weather alert for Victoria/area. So much rain. Our parking lot flooded, my families area flooded as well (the only way in/out of their neighbourhood).

I found the games in the snow were the craziest, followed closely by the rain, especially if it was a grass pitch because you could get some wild tackles in.

I'm at 62.4mm for the day so far. Recorded 29.2mm yesterday for a storm total of 91.2mm thus far.

While this is AR is nothing in comparison to October 2003 out here in the valley, it's still probably the strongest October AR since 2003.

I remember October 2003. Was in Seattle then. Today has much the same feel to it.

Unfortunately, I barely missed it. I grew up in Prince George and moved to Abbotsford in the summer of 2004. But I did experience the January 2005 and November 2021 AR's, which were very similar to the October 2003 events.
