Absolutely insane AR for Metro Vancouver and especially the suburbs near the mountains.

Less impressive here, but still impressive by my standards. Here are my rainfall totals:

Yesterday: 29.2mm

Today: 75.9mm

Storm total: 105.1mm

While this may seem lame compared to other nearby regions, Abbotsford rarely records daily totals above 50mm so 75.9mm is significant.

The rain gauge in east Coquitlam near my place was not in operation in Nov 2021, but the one in northeast Coquitlam was. Totals comparison below.

Northeast Coquitlam (Burke Mtn) rainfall totals
Nov 13-14-15, 2021: 208.8mm
Oct 18-19-20, 2024: 275.1mm (so far)

Driving to south Surrey yesterday and the farmlands are all flooded. Not usual to them flooded this soon. In fact some still had some crops of some type a few days before the rain. Serpentine river is almost up to the top of it's banks. Scary. The pump station at Fraser Hwy and 176 st. failed, so it was flooding almost up to the Highway. Have to drive the route again today, will be fun to see.
