How far north do you guys think the SE winds get tonight? It feels like most of the time for Vancouver proper the SE portion is a nothing-burger.

Just got a bit of slush accumulation. Third day of flakes this season, but first accumulation of anything. Forecast looks more like Vancouver though.
It always snows in December in the Kootenays

This won't verify but it's interesting to see several of the recent Euro weekly runs showing at least one arctic outbreak in December.

Wind has started here. BC ferries has cancelled some sailing.

Just started cleaning up from the last storm, at least I'll be warm next winter! Does anyone have maps showing the low for this storm as compared to the last one?

No warnings for Abbotsford. Forecast sounds a bit underdone...

Tonight Rain at times heavy. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Wind becoming south 30 km/h gusting to 50 overnight. Temperature steady near 10.
Watch out for tornadoes, they skipped us last time and we got tornadoes!

:hound: can you add a tornado smilie?
