Anyone know where I can trade my wind SWS for a snowfall warning?

Some slushy rain last night here but no snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: November 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
willoughby hill will prolly score again..it always seems to do well in spite of the maps. Not sure why the maps never add totals to this area as a default considering the history of this snowy area. Same as Catnip Hill..but not as cold sadly

Re: November 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
NAM 3km details (since this model has been accurate in the past). Happens in the morning tomorrow, and it’s likely wet snow not phantom snow based on temps and DP’s.

938mb...
The media senasationalism is ridiculous though. The low remains far offshore which means a run of the mill storm for us.

938 mbar? Isn’t that like a Cat 4 if it was a hurricane?

Re: November 2024 Forecasts And Discussions
It's not really as intense as a tropical cyclone due to a more dispersed low pressure field and the lack of inner convection. The strongest winds with this extra-tropical cyclone are going to be higher up in the atmosphere rather than the surface. Should still get gusty close to the core of this low pressure with 110-120km/hr winds. Most of us will probably see gusts near 50-60km/hr.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 8:31 am 938 mbar?
