The February 1990 snowstorm was incredible for Metro Vancouver.
The March 1962 snowstorm also ranks amongst the all-time greats as well.

I'm biased so I'm looking at analogs that worked out well for Abbotsford.

Abbotsford saw nearly 45cm between March 1st and 4th in 1962.

Any snow is good snow! They've changed it here too, I was wondering 1c and rain = chances!
Sadly easy come, easy go, no snow again...

Looks like they're going for a bit of a suppressed jet pattern too, with below average precip on the north and central coast. Would mean we could see a few battleground setups between the cold, dry air to the north and the warm, mild air to the south.
Fingers crossed, those are always fun!

Tyler and friends are still bullish on this winter (at least for SWBC).

Still possible. After all, winter officially begins on December 21, 2024 and ends on March 20, 2025. It's not even December yet.

Looks to be a few clear breaks in the clouds right now in east Coquitlam -- currently 2c.
Would have been nice to take advantage of this semi chilly airmass with clear nights and decent freezes. Unfortunately we're pretty much stuck with permanent low clouds with temps hovering between 2c and 6c.
