Doesn't look like La Nina is going to be cool this year.

coin toss forecast models. EC doesn't know; they're guessing based on the failure of the earlier long range. 50% chance they'll stumble on the right forecast and claim victory.

Hasn't been much fog around here, so the last few days have been fairly pleasant. Cold, frosty mornings, nice, warmish, sunny afternoons.

Currently +4.1 after a high of +7.6

Would have been nice if this pattern lasted through the weekend.

Currently 3c with clear skies in east Coquitlam.

A touch of patchy fog mixed with haze also visible at ground level -- as usual, seems thicker towards the east.

Another freeze likely tonight if it remains clear.

Looks like the north shore mountains should transition back to snow by Sunday. Friday night and Saturday will have pretty high snow levels unfortunately.

Everyone may get in on the :dancepine: fun soon!

Goes to show once again that you can’t take long range/seasonal outlooks too seriously, whatever they may show.

Still holding out hope for some below normal temps as we get into the 2nd part of Dec. Don’t need anything arctic to get low elevation snows that time of year.

Perhaps Typer will finally get his epic January once things flip!
