Perhaps the best shot of snow this month is Monday into Tuesday. We should see precip with a weak shortwave associated with the trough sliding east. 150m snow levels depending on the precip intensity.
Spring arrives next Wed into Thurs and lasts through end of Jan.

Temps as low as -5C for Northern Florida. Daytime highs struggle to reach 0C. Daytime highs only near +9C for Miami

Snow over the Gulf of Florida
Could be a very snowy setup for the Great Lakes and Eastern US.
The east has been long overdue for a cold and snowy December. That setup would be pretty nutty though. Only 9 days away!

The late December 1980 heatwave set the bar very high for many locales for that time of year and records from that event will be tough to beat.

That was a cold one. Average temp of 0.5c at YVR!
January 1982 was more memorable as the Arctic blast early in the month was quite significant, and we received more snow despite having a warmer monthly average than 1980.

Lots of double-digit highs, and no minus signs in sight.

The snowpack under 1500m might be completely wiped out by the end of the month.

Surprised there was no wind warning issue issued for this area.
Wind has been ripping pretty good all morning.
