I don’t pretend to be an expert on Canadian politics, but here’s my take: Justin Trudeau is resigning because he’s completely lost the trust and confidence of the Canadian people. And he lost that trust because he’s made their lives worse in every conceivable way, by every metric. Trudeau is a far-left radical—an ideological true believer—who imposed his leftist agenda on the citizenry in an increasingly authoritarian fashion. And here’s the thing: leftism, when forced on people, always makes their lives worse. It can’t do anything else.
It’s just a matter of how long people will put up with it. Are you going to prioritize the well-being of yourself and your family, or not? The moment people decide to prioritize their own families is the moment they start moving away from leftism and toward conservatism. That’s just how it works. Think about it. Being tough on crime? Right-wing. Protecting the border? Right-wing. Defending the family, cutting taxes, reducing regulations, making sure people keep more of their own money to put food on the table—all of it is “right-wing.” Even valuing marriage and encouraging people to have kids—basic things that ensure the survival of civilization—are now considered right-wing ideas. Why? Because leftism stands against all of it.
And that’s the fundamental problem. Leftism opposes everything that makes life better, more fulfilling, happier, and more purposeful. That’s why Justin Trudeau is getting run out of town. It’s not just about him personally—it’s about what he represents. He pushed policies that actively destroyed the quality of life for normal people, and now he’s paying the price for it. It’s always the same story with leftist leaders. Sooner or later, reality catches up to them. Trudeau is no exception.

I saw today that with Trump being president again that the BC First Nations chief has reversed his stance on building the Northern Gateway Pipeline, meaning that before he opposed it and he now supports it. This is so we don't have to rely on the US as a partner as much. It would make so much sense to get refineries starting to get built in Canada as well so we can supply our own gas and not rely on the US to provide the supply.
