Trough digs far to the SW, eventually into Southern California with much needed showers and low snow levels for them. A touch of modified arctic air also makes it way west of the Sierra range with freezing temps at sea level making their way as far south as Los Angeles. Clown range stuff but that would be an insane wild swing in weather over there.
