Severe clear here. Not a trace of fog.Hawk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 9:52 am I saw that fog driving over the Golden Ears bridge. Similar to yesterday morning as well. We are struggling to shake the fog and low level moisture. Hopefully this continues as our weather pattern changes towards the end of the month, bringing plenty of moisture and SNOW!![]()

Agreed. I wasn't offended in the least bit when I was called a troll. I thought it was hilarious. Made up for the less promising runs today.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:12 pm The mood swings are hilarious! One guy even cancelled the next 2 winters.

Re: January 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
There's a lot of hypocrisy on the AF's. Someone will post a cold 600hr+ weekly control run and hype it up. But if I post a 300hr+ run that isn't cold, I get told to only post what's in the believable range. The double standard and mood swings on there is honestly ridiculously hilarious.Catnip wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 10:45 am They don't want JR posting about something 7-10 days out, yet the few times I'll pop on there I see numerous posts of day 10-15 maps showing some perfect storm of snow and cold that will most likely never materialize. Then when they don't materialize they cancel winter. It's like rinse and repeat on there, year after year.![]()

The models could show an asteroid impacting earth with a supersonic 2000 degree shockwave and snow_wizard would probably go on about the millisecond of cold winds that would precede the firey hell.AbbyJr wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2025 12:47 pm There's a lot of hypocrisy on the AF's. You can't make this up. The media is wild
This is why nobody believes the alerts and warnings when severe weather does come. Calling for an arctic outbreak and snow is just stupid...

You would think the law of averages would give us one shot this winter, since the East keeps winning? Who knows. We will see.
