18z GFS still shows the arctic front passing through the south coast next Saturday evening. Surface low forms off the central coast in line with the front, dropping south with widespread snowfall on Sunday as temps continue to fall.

You guys all excited about the GFs. Last year you all through the GFS out and said it’s garbage. Euro in the way to go last year.

Nevermind Wpro. He only posts once we know it is going to snow. Put your trust in LBugs instead, she knows.

18z GFS operational is on the warmer side of the ensemble mean (which now drops below -10c) in the mid to long range. At the risk of jinxing myself, I won't say colder runs ahead, but it's a good sign.

Traitor. I don't even know of what you speak of. A facebook group would be a more popular platform but would be full of randoms.

It's nearly within 5 days. It could still bust but chances are high for the region to see snowflakes.

This stretch of dry weather and sunshine has been incredible but it's time to cover the mountains with snow.
