I know this isn't a done deal by any stretch of the imagination, but I always felt this is why people are not prepared. Everyone I talked to thinks it isn't getting cold and it's just going to rain. The average person will check the weather today and say, "Oh, cool rain this weekend," and won't check it again.
They will Gem was a bit wobbly so far.

I noticed the gem had some too now before Friday. So the nam might not be off it’s rocker.

EC is in a damned if you do damned if you don’t position. But I still feel they always go against model guidance like the people think they are smarter than the models.

I don't get it. Kristi Gordon from GlobalBC mentioned the Snow possibly over the weekend. I don't know why they are so afraid to do so.

They are afraid to jump the gun and lose credibility. To me they already lost it in June 2021 and November 2021 by not giving credence to the extreme model guidance in those situations.

That’s putting aside a lot of snow fails, you can chalk that up to this climate being extremely unpredictable if you’re feeling generous. There have been some bizarre calls there but some big wins too.

I wonder if the gfs is onto something here. If so, this could be an all time February. But I have my doubts with the other models not going that way.
