Remember, it's going to snow this weekend. That's pretty cool. Models will model.

1) it is more than 48 hours away

2) EC does not rely only on Canadian models to make decisions for snowfall warnings

Snowfall warnings will be issued tomorrow morning I'm sure

Out of curiosity, when did I ever mention anything about a snowfall warning? Lol. I never did, so I'm not sure where you got that from and why you're bringing it up.

Then what are you complaining about? The forecast? Most people just use what's on their phone. Who cares what their forecast says. Even if their forecast said 200 cm of snow very few would know. The warning, however, that gets picked up by media.

I'd move too and sacrifice my love of snow to avoid driving from Surrey to the Airport, but if you are in Ladner, you STILL have to take the horrendous tunnel!!
It only takes me 18-20 minutes to get to the airport with the EV sticker! Not too bad.

I get you've been wanting to go at everyone tonight, and that's fine, but you clearly missed a bunch of posts in the past 24 hours. People over 60 don't "look at their phones." They trust and believe in EC. We had a poster mention that someone they know refused to cancel their appointments because they believe it's going to rain all weekend because EC said so this morning! Same for people I know. It puts people, especially the elderly, in jeopardy, as people have posted, but you wouldn't know that since you're not around anyway.

Agreed.

I am surprised given the high reliability of the Euro. Even if you half its shown snow totals, that's still a widespread disruptive snowstorm. :flakey:

I'm fine. Lol. He's just been weird, trying to downplay things when people post. Not sure why.
