No. We had a brief cold snap with a bit of snow in 2011 but the polar jet quickly retreated and a big juicy storm from the south, that was supposed to remain suppressed, just trucked right on up to the central coast.

Mountain Man from Yale use to ride his bike around ended up with a flat he would ride to Boston Bar. Back on the old forum we had a member from Mission back in February 2017 posted alot during that snow event Seven7 l think was his name, also Golden Bear hasn't come out of hibernation yet.

Wrong again algae breath, it was Mtseymourguy, then became Mtseymourguy2 when he found our new location, I nicknamed him Yaleman, then he moved to Spuzzum and got too busy to post, became mayor, fireman, teacher, crossing guard, and school janitor.

Minus 7 in Yale. Trees are lashing about. Power out. No cooked food in house. I guess I'll cook hot dogs in wood stove . Barbaric.

Grim weather situation. -5 C in Yale bc. It will likely be minus 15 C tonight. Howling winds and flurries . Must be 12 inches of snow on ground in places.

-17 c in Yale with wind . Want to enjoy sunny weather but too cold to go outside. At least no snow.

-13 and sunny in Yale. Glaciers developing in hwy 1 tunnels. Some people seem to speed up in these conditions. Best to stay at home.

-11 in hope bc and ec is predicting a high of +1 today.
The true cruelty of this situation is that this was supposed to be a warm winter. This just proves you can pack an entire winter of misery into one unending week.
