Arctic Front is rolling through Cache Creek. Which means it’s knocking on the door of getting into the thompson and Fraser River canyons. Hmm

Just got home a bit ago.
Skies are partly clear. Temp has dropped to +0.9 & DP -2 so it's cold enough to snow now.
Seems there must have been a short burst of strong winds in my area because a lot of tree debris is on the road. Looks like I hit a high of 6 earlier today.

Hmmmm. ECs forecast shows a high of 2C at cache creek tomorrow but it certainly looks like it’s snowing and blowing there now. Either I’m missing something or the front is ahead of schedule.

I doubt it makes it here before Sunday afternoon by what I see in the models but it seems to have a decent forward speed. The low forming off the coast will likely slow it down some. Kind of a catch 22 cause we want the moisture and instability

It would be great if they collided tomorrow; moisture and cold air

WRF is usually the most aggressive with cold air arriving and it shows Howe sound outflow starting around 2am Sunday. And Fraser outflow kicking in around 3 or 4am. History says this is probably optimistic timing.
