My guess is that would've been either mid Feb 1990, early Jan 1991, or early Jan 1993.

I'm sure you have it pinned down. I remember a period of about 2 weeks where it was cold and mostly snowy but on Burnaby Mountain it never changed over cuz the snow levels never really rose much above a few hundred feet

Ashcroft definitely dewpoint drop and wind shift it's only a short gog from Cache Creek.

How long before it hits the strait, at this rate?

Will take fairly long to get through the coastal mountains. Further to our north, it should get through earlier and push out to the central coast (ex. Bella Coola/Bella Bella).

The drop in Valemount was impressive. Next up in its path over there will be Clearwater.

To the east, it will likely take a while to break over the Rockies once it hits Banff and Pincher Creek.
