Let's hope the higher Sun angles add just enough instability for some powerful convective cells today somewhere. I mean some areas needs to get pumbled cmon!! :flakey: :flakey: :flakey:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

I think the short-term models are mostly too dry. Just not enough agreement with the Euro/GFS consensus. In particular, I don't trust what the NAM 3km is saying at all, despite how accurate it has been the last few years of snow events.

Just looking at the pattern next week and things look pretty stagnant in a good way. Weak to moderate outflow with some instability with the low lingering off the coast. I wouldn’t be surprised if parts of east Vancouver Island saw at least some snow fall for the next 7 or 8 days.

Right now I’m going with 10–20 cm in Vancouver proper tomorrow. 25–50 cm in Abbotsford. They really look to get walloped out there.

Not a whole lot anywhere during the day today. 5 cm max.
