5-10cm is fine going into an extended cold snap if the 12z ECMWF is to be believed. We haven't had one since Dec 2021, or Feb 2019 going further back.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 1:56 pm 18Z RGEM is now showing 5-10cm through Monday. Potentially even less at the border and SW sections. No real sustained periods of snow are modeled. Just quick moving bands of precip.

Lots of snow coming down in Chilliwack around the little mountain area. Big flakes blowing from the northwest. Not sticking. Temperature is 2*

Very good trends for the Island. That low pulling further off the coast along the outflow means more

If the 18Z Euro concurs with the GFS, this could be one of the most epic rug pulls in recent years.

It’s the GFS. Bad resolution. Throw it out. Let’s go with the Euro.

Of course this happens after EC issues a snowfall warning.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 2:12 pm If the 18Z Euro concurs with the GFS, this could be one of the most epic rug pulls in recent years.
