I should add a disclaimer for all the "realists." I'm not saying this will actually happen. It's one model output.
Amongst the mesoscale models, recent HRRR runs have been quite snow showery, and of course the Euro has been on the snowy side as well. So it’s not as if the Goofus is standing alone here.

Really a shame to have that band of purple just offshore where all that snow will be wasted falling into the sea. It needs to move 7 or 8 km eastward.
