I am getting heavy snow. Visibility is reduced enough to qualify as that, pretty sure. Rubes I think you should be too.

Edit: 1st cm has been achieved.

Side note: It's also amazing how much brighter things get with just a little bit of snow reflecting light.

Resuming again. It's showery, as advertised.

Here it is, and the 06Z GFS to boot (which is being its old, erratic, wavering self).

And some meso models, which are continuing to be stingy, except for the HRRR.

If you've got the zoomed 12z HRRR maps would really appreciate. Looks like it's sticking with a west-focused 6-10" with bulk of precip late tonight

Edit: oh you beat me to it nvm

Is eastern Metro getting skunked right now? Radar doesn't look great for Surrey/Langley

Nice work, Western Metro! Our time will come over here. The heaviest bands don't even project to come until much later.
Love what I'm seeing from most of the mesoscale models now.

Apparently the Arctic front is straddling the burrard inlet and Harrison Hot Springs.

Not snowing but grass is white.
