Or you will score a nice dump of sea effect snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Stay positive John the moisture is shifting eastward just concerned the outflow will reach us before the moisture that will either enhance us or dry us out.

The North shore is the big winner so far, western areas second.

The Euro is still bullish on heavy bands coming through, probably starting early afternoon:

It has been snowing steadily in the past few hours and the temperature is around 0.5C. Can anyone tell me around what time the arctic front will pass through the lower mainland and how it will affect the snow situation?

Last I checked yesterday, won't be passing through the western lower mainland until later this afternoon or early evening.

Yes, pretty much as I expected. I did predict 10-15 cm for Abby/Mission, so I only need another 3 cm to hit the lower end of that range. Hopefully there will be some surprises.

There has been some low level outflow most of the morning. It’s trickling in,

Keeping an eye on the radar and it sure looks like this snow band will wind up within an hour.

No. I really don't see it happening. Not this time. The track and the timing are very much against us. I have rarely seen two fronts do such excellent imitations of a Mollusk
