I had about 0.0001 cm of snow this morning but now it's melting from...a sunny break.

Weather Dude wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 12:09 pm I find EC’s forecast style misleading. They issue an 11 a.m. update saying 5-10 cm with 15 inland. I think it would be reasonable to read it as that’s what they think is still coming today. But really that is their forecast from this morning that they just haven’t updated.
Don't trash EC. Nordelian will get mad

Mild before the arrival of an arctic front is usually the game script. More chances for :flakey: the next 2 days.

You could be living in Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.

Actual location to the NW is a bit further north up the island near Campbell River, and it's yet to push through some of the inlets further north on the mainland, east of the Island near Johnstone Strait (ex. north of Sayward, Alert Bay).
7.5cm of snow!

I wondered because it's +1c dp 0 here, 0.8c dp 0 in Sechelt. Just had a brief graupel shower, and the snow is falling off the trees. I hope the front gets here soon, high overcast, maybe more snow coming soon???
