Subsidence is really killing off anything trying to make it across the strait right now. Our best hope is some convergence later on today, I think.

Things are picking up over the straight, looking like it might favour my area a bit.

31 cms measured on deck railing, flurries now with a bit of blue sky. No signs of arctic front yet. Cars sliding all over between my area and downtown Squamish. Everyone headed home from Whistler and stuck on hill exiting town, gong show. Cold here nothing is melting not a single drip. It's absolutely beautiful 😍

Another graupel shower moving through east Coquitlam. Some snowflakes mixed in. Slightly sticking (due to the rate) to the otherwise slushy and wet paved surfaces.

Currently 1c.

First signs of a north/south convergence setting up headed for Maple Ridge, 12z HRDPS may have hit the bullseye

Looks like just the sort of snow band to favour eastern parts of the metro area, which is what the HRRR is calling for between now and tomorrow morning.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Snowing again, coming down decently! My favourite day, nothing much on the radar and then it starts snowing again. :D

Might be because I sacrificed a broom earlier, I guess this isn't sweeping snow and the handle broke, cheap Dollartree brooms. ;)

Sun and snow now! So beautiful.

Got home early. Snow depth is 10.5 cm, so I can pretty safely assume my snowfall was 12 cm this morning given melting and compacting. Possibly a little more but will go with conservative number.
