Getting some light flurries. Time for a freshening up before we head into the deep freeze!
It's called clown range for a reason.

There was never any event going to happen there today or before the outflow arrives.

Through the Sea to Sky corridor, the front still appears to be between Cheakamus and Brackendale. Has yet to hit Squamish proper.

On and off graupel showers continue. Haven't had any new snowfall accumulations since morning; still sitting on 4cm for the day.

Those cells will start progressing westward with the arctic front. Just a guess

Models have been handling it really well. The earliest the arctic air was modeled, that I saw , was the WRF and it was showing mid morning today. It’s absolutely always too fast with cold in these situations.

I wondered because it's +1c dp 0 here, 0.8c dp 0 in Sechelt. Just had a brief graupel shower, and the snow is falling off the trees. I hope the front gets here soon, high overcast, maybe more snow coming soon???
Likely not till evening. Currently held up running on a SE to NW axis banked against the mountain ranges stretching from Garibaldi to Jervis Inlet.

Further to the N, it's pushed through the inlets towards Campbell River, as mentioned in an earlier post. Has yet to make much progress south of there.
