As discussed several times YVR should never have been the designated spot for official Vancouver record keeping. Even downtown locations like coal harbour are not conducive to Vancouver's over all climate too many variables as these past few days have demonstrated. There are some sites throughout the GVRD with weather records but good luck finding them or they have been shuttered.
