Komo futurecast radar showed snow over southern areas from basically 5 p.m. today to midnight.Hawk wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 10:48 am https://weather.gc.ca/satellite/satelli ... pe=visible
This looks like 5-10cms to me![]()
but i dunno
It does look light, though, so I think a lot of this will weaken a bit before moving north. I'll go with 1 to 5 cm for now. I don't think areas will see anything close to 10 cm. I would love to be surprised.

Re: February 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
Very memorable event as my mother got stuck attempting to drive up Gaglardi Way during that snowstorm despite having chains on. No cars could make it up the hill as the road conditions that day were the among the worst ever seen as Burnaby Mountain got hit the hardest with nearly 50cm.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 9:39 am Indeed we talked about that one l remember we were in the ice box before that event as well. I was just up the hill on Gatensbury and Austin ave. Remember that big apartment fire up there last year l believe? we lived in there rent was cheap bldg was old but when your young with kids the rent was affordable.
