Shows a band of snow around 5:30 PM lingering until 2:00 am then clearing up by 3 or 4 am.
Actually looks like Southern Puget sound could see either rain or accumulating slush at best.

The microscopic flurry is over. I don't think there will be much more to this at least in western sections.

By the way, Canucks bashers. Demko is back, new guys look incredible including the two new Pettersson's and Chytil. Speed, energy, positivity and youth. Once we get Petey going and Hughes back this team could be a darkhorse.

Back to weather 8-)

Surprised to see the models insistent on moisture making headway into the dry outflow tonight but it does look good for 2-5cm in the valley. Maybe a bit more.

We had light flurries on and off through the night. Didn’t amount to much. Maybe 0.5cm at best.

perfect day today with this amazing winter troff. After a sunny morning showing off the beautiful, snow covered mountains, we are right back to cold, cloudy and more flurries. The harmless type of flurries, but they look great during this cold and snowy

Orographic lift is a fancy term I learned from this forum. I think it's applicable here.

the best part of EC's SWS was this part:

Snowfall amounts will be highly variable, but 2 to 4 cm can be expected with local amounts exceeding 5 cm possible.
With the unstable nature of the precipitation, locally heavy flurries could occur creating reduced visibilities and impacting evening commute.
