Hmm almost like precip is yet again being ripped into two parts with Burnaby drying out from the north and precip moving around to the east and to the west. What gives?

Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

White Rock got pummeled by some pretty heavy snow for a while there starting at around 4:30.

Cloverdale and Langley got a decent hit for around 90 minutes. Heavy at times.

Sounds like Ladner got some light snow.

So it definitely delivered unexpectedly today.

Very light flurries in my neighbourhood but any snow is good snow. Maybe we'll squeeze out 1 cm of maintenance snow!

It's actually still a decent flurry. Closing in on a cm. I can appreciate it for what it is if I hadn't got hyped about that massive blob
It just got shredded as it approached the river I think. Fraser Outflow the culprit?

Light snow here in Newton. Like Hawk said earlier with the cold no melting which is pretty rare in this part of the world.

I'm skeptical I'm going to get any snow tonight given my humidity is only 52%. It's possible but I'm not so sure.

Thank you I feel worse/better now.
Honestly it's a pretty nice unexpected little event here. Some snow for 4 straight days.

How come you guys haven't developed a point scoring system for winter grading.

Days with sunshine 2 points
Mornings below 0 1 point
Snow 5 points
Snow more than 5cm per day 10 points
Snow more than 15cm per day 30 points
Thundersnow 30 points
Hail 5 points
Snowcover for 72 hours 5 points
Windstorm over 60km/hr 10 points
Windstorm over 80km/hr 15 points

Then total up a winter to get a grade. Grade point based on bell curve.

Totally sounds like a nerdy weather thing to do.
