Ladner had heavy snow for about 5-10 mins. Was fun to see.

Continued flurries over the past hour.

Big flakes coming down now.

well a pretty dry event. At least some areas saw flakes and a nice squall in the SW.. What is it now...7 days region wide with sun/snow, and most importantly, ZERO RAIN   .
If we look at how much RAIN we will have from When we first dried up until ?? end of February..its looking like the early predicts of a dry/chilly winter maybe was not that far off. Just delayed by ~a month?
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Yah, that would have been nice. Can't complain, at least we got snow this winter and it's stuck around plus lots of below 0c days in Jan and Feb.

Brief flurry around 12:30, which was the only band in the last 12 hours to survive the Strait

This stretch bumps the winter up to a solid C- for me. Below-freezing stretch and snow that stuck around, which is more than can be said for lots of other years. Really could have been better if the low last Wednesday had just trended 50 km north or so. Using a much tougher grading system than some of the poor saps in the AF who lose their minds over a slushy inch that melts in the daytime light. Sorry, it can't be a decent winter if it only starts in February.
Praying for another 1950

Models still have a cold signal for early to mid March but are now bullish on a very mild and wet period until then.

Go get your ski fix before it's too late.

We’re due for rain. The last month has been an incredible stretch of very little rain.

Partly cloudy the next few days.

Back to plain old rain by the weekend with a mild split flow.

I cannot wait for spring.
