Just insane what you pull off over there definitely your own micro climate. The only thing l recall is that stretch of Lougheed from the old Riverview westward is the lack of snow usually and seemed was one of the last areas to turn to snow.

I'm more than ready for this white stuff to disappear. Still have about 20cm in my front yard and parking at my kids schools is a side show because the city only plowed 1.5 lanes. We dont even need to get into the yellow snow everywhere on the sidewalks.

That's one thing I miss about living in Coquitlam/Surrey areas... you can always count on getting some chilly overnight lows, even during unimpressive cold spells. Another thing I really miss is seeing the snow piling up on the trees and roofs. The outflow winds don't really let that happen out here.

On second look at that euro map, it follows the gfs on giving us a bit more than a dusting in eastern sections. Fraser valley desert?!

Edit: on third look, that happens at the end of the run! Lol.

The end of the end explains why: the elusive NW/zonal flow!

I don't know l thought l saw 19c maps just 24 hours ago and the drama over a couple inches of snow today over on the AF was a complete joke with the Wiz leading the way. these maps wil fuel more idiotism.

Glad I'm not in Portland, Oregon. Apparently, there's a 100 car pile up, on white put conditions.
