Yeah, signals appear to be increasing will see how this week works out. AF is kinda going a tad nuts as usually good for some long weekend entertainment l guess.

I haven't looked down there, but given it's into March and nothing particularly strong/impressive is being teased at...Lol. Did they end up getting anything out of this recent system in Seattle? Or is it just a massive donut on the winter (how sad)?

Seattle was too warm so sounders were pretty quiet probably all took anti depressants. Portlanders were going absolutely insane over the 5cm most got. :o there might have been afew higher totals but l didn't do a deep dive and of course Jim Snow_Wiz has once again disappeared after he predicted 30cm what a joke kinda glad Portland got something rather than Seattle sounders can be arrogant.

Long range continues to get more interesting. Kind of preferred onshore to continental myself but here it is.

Yes but you can see some over the water trajectory and if it ends up being a dry Arctic fart l'm out had enough this last round in the central valley desert.

Unless I get a good 10+ cm snowfall that actually doesn't melt in one day I am not interested in March. I'm not keen on 4 cm overnight then +6 and seeing it drip off the trees on the same day while it turns into brown sludge immediately.

No relief for the Great Lakes. Some communities may see 2 meters of snow if this pattern holds up.

Beware of the models showing carrots. Still think third week is where we will see a complete pattern flip with a flatter NPAC ridge. Means a ton of cold rain is coming for April.
