This literally shows how uncommon snow in March is now. It backs up my point; snow in Vancouver in March is rare.

What percentage of something occurring in your opinion qualifies as rare? Less than 75%? Less than 50%? Less than 25%?Weather101 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 13, 2025 5:44 pm This literally shows how uncommon snow in March is now. It backs up my point; snow in Vancouver in March is rare.
Just wondering as everyone has a different opinion.
IMO, March snowfall in the Lower Mainland is not rare at all.

Re: March 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
ahaha..all the talk of "it doesn't snow in March" and BAMMMMM, it snows the same day
We just missed out on some decent snow totals but the troff was pretty dry. Pretty much bone dry in Langley since yesterday afternoon/evening, and overnight

Sat, 15 Mar Rain mixed with wet snow. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Snowfall amount 4 cm over higher terrain. High plus 5. UV index 1 or low.
Question...where is higher terrain in PM? Its all sea level

Re: March 2025 Forecasts And Discussions
People keep saying it doesn't snow in March.
We do see a ton of wet snow showers, hail and graupel. It just doesn't seem to accumulate anymore, especially at sea level.
Tonight looks good for areas above 400m.
