snowing in Hope now. That super cell produced and temps plumetted with it due to cold 850's
East valley making up for the abysmal snowpack this winter 8-)
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

What percentage of something occurring in your opinion qualifies as rare? Less than 75%? Less than 50%? Less than 25%?

Just wondering as everyone has a different opinion.

IMO, March snowfall in the Lower Mainland is not rare at all.

ahaha..all the talk of "it doesn't snow in March" and BAMMMMM, it snows the same day :lol: :lol:
We just missed out on some decent snow totals but the troff was pretty dry. Pretty much bone dry in Langley since yesterday afternoon/evening, and overnight :thumbdown:

Tonight Mainly cloudy. 60 percent chance of showers overnight except wet flurries over higher terrain. Low plus 2.
Sat, 15 Mar Rain mixed with wet snow. Risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Snowfall amount 4 cm over higher terrain. High plus 5. UV index 1 or low.

People keep saying it doesn't snow in March.

We do see a ton of wet snow showers, hail and graupel. It just doesn't seem to accumulate anymore, especially at sea level.

Tonight looks good for areas above 400m.
